This restaurant is a neighborhood favorite. They have a huge menu. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer the outdoors section because it is quite relaxed. Thon Krueng caters mainly to Thai and Japanese expats that live in the area. It is located on the corner of Thonglor and Soi 13.

I agree that this is a terrific restaurant, one of my favorites in Bangkok. It’s not a restaurant for tourists and therefore the prices are very reasonable. You see a lot of successful business people eating here, Thai and Japanese. The place is comfortable and unpretentious, the drinks are strong and the food is really good.
