A smoke and a text

There is a definite Singapore style.  One part Hong Kong, one part Japan, a dash of American and a pinch of European, and a whole lotta Singapore.  Looking good!

  1. First of all, thanks for the photos. Regarding the first photo of the guy & girl, I can’t see how they’re “European” or “Japanese” at all. Most, if not all, Western Europeans and Japanese I know will not leave home in flip flops even if it kills them. It’s too embarrassing. So I would say it’s 100% Singaporean, and very ugly at that.

And the second photo of the girl in hat, I’m sure she’s Japanese (there are lots of Japanese in my school in London). Compare the Singaporean girl next to her who doesn’t even bother *sigh* I can only say, we have A LOT to catch up with the Japanese, much less Western Europeans (English, French, Italians)
