Street photos, which camera? giant Canon or tiny Leica?

with 4 comments

When trying to capture people on the street, it can be difficult.  Sometimes you have to use a small camera that they don’t notice.  But that also comes at a price.  With a large DSLR with a full frame sensor and a large telephoto lens, you can take a photo from a distance and then crop without any worries.  But the problem is, people notice your huge camera.  It is a trade off.  Sometimes the small camera works; sometimes the larger.  So I carry both.  You have to be ready.

  2. Yeah. Big time crazy huh? With Canon, can take handheld photo without flash even in low light. Can set ISO as high as 3200. Also lens has image stabilization. But also bring small camera.
