Bangkok street fashion – riding the Skytrain

Sometimes it is difficult when looking for stylish people to find them. However if you spend enough time on the Skytrain from the Emporium to Siam Paragon, you can run across some great “street” fashions.  Couple things to notice.  Big bags are as “in” in Bangkok as they are all over the world.  Also, there is a practicality in Bangkok as both women in the photos are wearing flats.

  2. The trend started about two years ago in NYC. It evolved from a combi bag to carry wallet, mobile phone, papers, workout gear and sometimes a pair of heels. You would wear walking shoes to work and then change into heels. Then designers got hold of the concept and came out with lots of different styles. But it also led to back problems as women began carrying lots of stuff.
