A few years ago the Central Group of Central Department fame bought the World Trade Center and renamed it Central World Plaza.  They renovated the building from top to bottom and in the process created a shopping center with numerous interesting and spacious sightlines.  The most interesting visual is the central six story atrium.

In the above photos, the decorative “hanging vines” are partially constructed with glass bottles as the extremely cropped photo directly above shows.  Because of the sunlight streaming through the atrium, the “vines” and the six story visual, the effect is dramatic.

  2. Yeah. It was quite stunning. Sometimes the light shined through the bottles, but I could never catch it. Next time.

  3. A wonderful decoration!! if you dont tell me or no close up of the photos, it’s really hard to tell that ‘masterpiece” are glass bottles.
