Leo Laksi’s Bangkok And Back

Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained

Looking to light sources and reflections for inspiration

When I go out to take photographs, I am usually looking for light sources, including reflections, direct light sources and contrasting levels of light.  To me, these differences are meant to be exploited, to add an appearrance that allows one to raise their photographs to a different level.  Whenever you’re out looking for something to shoot, pay attention to reflections and light sources.  You might find something of interest.

In the above photo, you have both light tubes and a reflection off the fan.  In the photo below you have the same plus the backlit sky.

Other examples follow.
