Roaming Thailand – Quality of iPhone photo image
Of course an iPhone is not capable of the resolution of the most inexpensive point and shoot camera. And the photos are nowhere near the quality of some of the high-end Nokia N Series phones like the N96. But for web uses, like a blog or simply just sending a photo via an email, it’s not bad. Take a look at the original photo and then look at the detail in the cropped image. Not bad huh? There is some vignetting in the photo that detracts from the otherwise great image.

Great iPhone photos from Thailand
My friend Foo Foo discovered that the iPhone is capable of really good photos. Especially if the photographer is good. And she is, as her photos show. And because she always has her iPhone, she’s always ready for some cool shots.
Bangkok street fashions from your iPhone
These photos were taken by my correspondent with an iPhone on the Skytrain. They turned out pretty good. And you can get a real sense of what people are wearing in Bangkok. Yeah, I know they’re a little fuzzy. But that adds a little “character”.
Sometimes the best camera is one that is not noticed. And that’s the iPhone.
I’ll post your street photos. Twitter your photos via Twinkle or another Twitter client to @leolaksi. Or send them the old fashioned way. To leostreetphotos@gmail.com. Of course, I can’t promise I’ll post everything, but I’ll try. And the photos can be from anywhere.
Blogging on the iPhone
Just checking to see if the iPhone is ok for blogging. Think it will work in a pinch but the keyboard is terrible. Any other mobile phone you would recommend for mobile blogging?
